First of all, I'm a Christian. Second, I love Narnia! I've been reading the books ever since I was little, and I've been following the Narnia fansites ever since the LWW movie came out. You might know me as The Bulgy Bear. I'm homeschooled, and I'm the oldest of five children.

  1. First to comment! Mine would probably be the whole creation of Narnia. Like when Polly, Diggory, Frank, Strawberry/Fledge, Jadis, and Andrew enter the empty blackness to the point when the animals around Aslan become silent. I can’t wait to see that part in the film. If they plan to do MN next that is.

  2. I agree Angelica. The creation part is one of my favorite parts of the book. I think it will look amazing on film. Hope to see it happen! *sometime (preferably sooner than later)* 😀

  3. I love the films and all, but you can’t beat the magic, mystery, and beauty of the books. Thank you C.S. Lewis for these amazing tales. They filled my childhood with wonder and now my adulthood with never ending inspiration.

  4. I don’t actually have a specfic favoraite part of from the Magician’s Nephew. I do agree with Angelica and Joshua that the Creation part is great. (I can’t wait to see in in a movie either!) But I also love how the animals think Uncle Andrew is a “Neevil” and how they try to plant him. LOL. This book is especially powerful. Too bad I don’t have something to download it onto!

    • @Narnian Bibliophile- Kobo has a computer reader version for your PC. You download to your desktop, but it will Sync later if you get a device. I do everything on my iPhone, there are apps for Kindle and for Kobo.

  5. Cool! My favorite part is when the Talking Animals bury Uncle Andrew while thinking that he was a tree! 😀 To me, that is the most hilarious part of the entire Narnia series! If they ever make MN, I hope they include that part!

  6. Love the part when they wake up with the toffee tree…have a picture of it in my head, but my favorite part is the whole scene in Charn!

    • My favourite is also entire Charn! When they add stuff extra from the novel, it’s gotta be Charn! just Gotta be 🙂

Back story of Jadis origins and final days of that world thematically relates to every other Narnia story with exception of Horse & His Boy, how can Charn story not be great for the entire chronicles??

      • Charn in my opinion was too creepy for me to actually like it. It had a great deal of significance to the story with Jadis and all, which I understand. The creepiness of those scenes is hard for me to overcome to actually enjoy those scenes. Interesting to know that there are people who enjoy those scenes and why they do.

        • That’s also interesting Angelica.

I’ve always found it as a kind of Han christian fairy tale ( i see why can be seen as abit creepy) -like the White Witch’s ice castle – setting which i thought would appeal as a kind of balance for a wider audience to the expected more Narnia defining fantasy aspect of the rest of the story that movie goers would have.

        • I agree, Angelica Chakraborty. Charn is CREEPY! I, like Polly, couldn’t wait to get out of there! I guess there are lots Pollys out there (who didn’t like Charn very much), as well as Digorys, who wanted to stay and explore.

  7. I already have all of the Chronicles on my Nook and ASUS transformer eeepad. I teach reading with this series…the children’s favorite part of TMN is always the part where the animals try to plant Uncle Andrew, and then keep him as a pet. My favorite part would be the creation of Narnia. I also have a party when we finish the novel, and we always have a “toffee tree”!

  8. I really like the magianns nephew when aslan is creating the new world and the thought of what it might of been like to be there to feel and see the world being made. like all of the narnia books i hope they all be seen on the big screen. CSlewis had a wonderful imagination like we all should.
