Ever dream of walking the paths of Middle-earth or stepping through the wardrobe into Narnia? Here’s your chance!

Middle-earth Network has announced their grand tour, ‘A Long Expected Journey to New Zealand’ and it’s just in time for ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ Wellington Premiere! Join together with fellow Tolkien and Lewis fans on a 14 day tour that will take you on an extensive journey through both the North and South Islands of New Zealand.

We’re teaming with them on this, and if you sign up, be sure to tell them that NarniaFans.com sent you.  Part of the tour will be to locations used for the filming of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and there may be some special guests joining us at times!

This trip of a lifetime has been meticulously put together by Ian Brodie, world renown photographer and author of the award winning ‘Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook’ as well as ‘Cameras in Narnia.’

Trip highlights include a welcome group dinner in Auckland, touring the Waitomo Caves, a specially guided tour of Hobbiton Movie Set, a Hangi dinner in Rotorua, Tongariro National Park, Wellington & Weta Cave and more! 1. If I had several thousand laying around, as well as the time and if I wasn’t in a rigorous veterinary program…I’d go in a heartbeat.

  2. Hahaha, over 3,000 bucks? I would love to go more than anything in the world, but in this economy, who has that much money to spend to see movie sets? :\

    • Well, it’s mostly for travel and lodging (in and around the country) as well as a few other pretty fantastic things. It does cost a lot to get there. There are a lot of people signed up so far, I believe.

  3. 3,783.64 USD NOT including airfare.

But it’s for 13 overnights, so I’d consider that a deal for the diehard fan.

  4. can i also come? m frm India! how much it would cost in Indian rupee???… plzz telll!

  5. This is my dream vacation, but I don’t have nearly enough! How I wish I could go…

  6. I already have my deposit in. Should be a great journey. Paul, I hope you can go. Rumor has it that you may not be able to go. We need more Narnia people to go. Maybe we could have our own bus.
