Fellowship for Performing Arts has already developed several top notch C.S. Lewis stage productions including The Screwtape Letters, The Great Divorce, Shadowlands, and C.S. Lewis The Most Reluctant Convert. In the latest Fellowship Circle newsletter their organization announced plans for two additional C.S. Lewis stage shows to debut next year. The untitled sequel to C.S. Lewis The Most Reluctant Convert will continue the story of C.S. Lewis’s life from the moment of his conversion to his role as the leading Christian apologist. There is also a stage production adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s book Till We Have Faces in development.
During the Creating Art and Theatre from a Christian Worldview for a Post-Christian World with Max McLean LIVE Broadcast on August 30, 2020 NarniaFans.com asked when we can expect to see C.S. Lewis On Stage Part 2 and Till We Have Faces:
“The first draft of the C.S. Lewis Part Two (we don’t have a working title just yet, but will get one) is finished. The first draft is finished. Very excited! Really energized by the script and can’t wait to begin putting it on it’s feet. I think we’re going to do Mark’s Gospel first. We want to have that ready for Lent if we can. We have hired Chris Cragin-Day who wrote the Martin Luther on Trial script to produce Till We Have Faces. So she has been commissioned to write the first draft, she hasn’t delivered it yet. I anticipate the first draft of that will be available sometime in early 2021 and we will get to work from there.”-Max McLean
