LEGO Narnia

Do you love The Chronicles of Narnia series and LEGO sets? If so, you’ll love this LEGO Ideas submission, which was inspired by the creativity of a parent’s children playing with their LEGO sets.

The parent wanted to give their kids a special gift, so they designed and assembled a Chronicles of Narnia LEGO set, which was initially intended to be just a gift for their kids. However, after the kids asked for more, the parent built the wardrobe, which was the most challenging part of the design. It needed to have fully functioning doors, so the minifigures could pass through, and it also had to embody the contrast between the dull spare bedroom and the magical winter wonderland.

This set has broad appeal to LEGO fans of all ages, from the budding young fantasy reader to the discerning LEGO collector. It doubles as both a rich playable set and an intricately detailed display piece. The LEGO fantasy genre translates well for fans of many themes, and the 75th Anniversary of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1950) is rapidly approaching.

The Chronicles of Narnia LEGO set contains 5 components and 7 minifigures, including Jadis the White Witch, Ginarrbrik the Dwarf, Tummnus the Faun, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Peter Pevensie, and Susan Pevensie, along with the Wardrobe, Lantern Waste, the White Witch’s Sleigh, a large snow-covered tree, and a small snow-covered tree.

The wardrobe has fully functioning doors, custom-designed decals, a closet full of coats, hidden drawers with the magical green and yellow rings, Edmund’s armor, sword, and shield, a custom map of Narnia, a Chronicles of Narnia Lion, Witch, & the Wardrobe mini-book, and more. The White Witch’s sleigh has a hidden compartment to store minifigure accessories.

If you love Narnia, Fantasy & Fairytales, or simply appreciate the design & details in this set, the parent would love your support. Unfortunately, they don’t have a social media presence, so they’re relying on word of mouth to gather support.

Note: Everything was built with real bricks and colors that were available at the time of the build, but there are some bricks and minifigure designs that would benefit from some customization. For example, the minifigure torso designs would benefit from custom work and decals, the Jadis minifigure needs an ice crown, and it would be great to include Mr. and Mrs. Beaver and magical yellow and green rings.
