The Chronicles of Narnia was written by one of 20th century’s most-known Christian authors, C.S. Lewis and is one of the most beloved series of all time. The first book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was published 75 years ago on October 16th 1950. The story and its themes are compelling. From its pages (and screens), we were drawn to this fictional world but more to that, Narnia has its Christian living themes which also draws some of its readers to faith.
This 75th anniversary, we are sharing this compilation of messages and daily reflections inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia books and movies that I was able to write about 5 years ago. These were also inspired by Harper Collins’ A Year with Aslan and A Year with C.S. Lewis as well as The Family Guide to Narnia by Christin Ditchfield-Lazo. Thank you for inspiring me to write these.
With that, here are the first 8 days of daily reflections and the rest will be seen here: Narnia and the Bible | Narnia Daily Reflections which also features a more in-depth messages for each day in the hopes that it will also help you in your journey of faith.
Come further up and come further in! Happy Narnia Day!
