"Yes, thank you, Summer, I think they'll make a big difference. Anything they don't cover, Steve LeMarque will probably take care of. He said he'd help with notes too. Steve's the guy Chilena was a little spooked by the first day, but he's really an alright kid. So is his older sister Cindy, the one who fell on top of me on the stairway.

"But let's talk about this weekend. Are you planning to be at the lake on Monday for the annual festival?"

Chilena had her back on her brother's shoulder not saying anything she pulled her side kick out started to text Dan Dan well you all right if I come over to night?

Chilena had her back on her brother's shoulder not saying anything she pulled her side kick out started to text Dan Dan well you all right if I come over to night?

dan, having woken up and sitting up in his bed watching TV, texted back:
i asked; my mom said that the doctor's coming at two. maybe something like from three to five?

"I have an idea," said Alipang to Summer. "Let's you and me get a wheelchair, and take turns pushing each other in it. When girls are watching, you push me so I'll get sympathy; and when guys are watching, I'll push you so you'll get sympathy."

She looked up at her brother with a smile then text back:

Sounds good to me I'll be there around three all right?

works for me. see you then.

(I'll just say what happened with the doctor...)
Dr. Mann came over and checked Dan, took notes, and checked him once more. His mother had returned from work by this time, and therefore his father had left. The doctor said that Dan didn't have anything serious; it was just a bug, and that he would be back to school soon. After Dan and his mother thanked Dr. Mann, Dan texted Chilena:

well, he left. if you want you can come now.

OOC to G-Voice: You realize that current time for our characters is something like 9:30 p.m. Friday? Remember we had supper, then watched Veggietales? Are you going to see Dan at 3 tomorrow, or 3 a.m. tonight?

===============================

Alipang to Summer: "I'm used to making jokes to cheer up my sisters--all of them. But we actually could get a wheelchair, I bet."

"I'm sure we could get a wheelchair." Summer said smiling. "And thanks for making me laugh. I've been kind of on edge ever since yesterday. It doesn't help that my mom is so uptight."

ooc: im guessing that we'll just play this part saying it was before; because dans going to talk about labor day.

She jump up :

That's sounds great let me tell my brother and Summer I'm leaving!

She looked at her brother with a huge smile on her face " Al Dan is all right and he was wondering if I can come over is that all right?," she asked, looking at Summer with a weak smile " Thank you for letting me come over," she told her.

"You go ahead, Chil-Chil. I can walk home; the streets have been cleared of crime, thanks to the Filipino Fireball and his trusty sidekick, Captain LaCrosse. Or was it Captain LaCrosse and his trusty sidekick the Filipino Fireball?"

She rolled her eyes " Oh, come on Al stop talking like that," she told him, with a laugh he all ways know how to make her smile " I'll be back so you don't have to walk home," she told him, kissing him before she left the house.

Alipang suddenly looked a little bashful. The only reason he had never become romantically drawn to Summer, whom he _liked_ a great deal, was that his parents had always pressed him far harder not to date than they ever thought of pressing Chilena--the reverse of parental custom, but done perhaps because they were afraid of him hurting some guy in a fight over a girl. The sudden fierce attraction to Kim had been an unplanned wild card. And now Alipang was alone with a beautiful girl who _didn't_ treat him with contempt.

"Um, Summer, I know you didn't bargain for this...I don't want your Mom to be made even more tense by...I mean...to think that...Maybe I should walk home all the same."

Chilena drove up in Dan's drive way now " Should I tell him about what my mum and dad told me?," she asked herself, with a sigh then took a deep breath walking up to his door.

Summer smiled. "My mom knows you. Don't worry about it. Though if you want to go home that's fine." She said looking slightly disappointed.

Alipang turned suddenly toward Summer, and surprised himself by taking hold of her shoulders. "I didn't say I didn't _want_ to stay here with you...I just...I mean I don't....I mean you don't....I mean your mother doesn't...You know what, my cracked rib probably _would_ be awfully bothered if I walked that far. And, um, I didn't get any popcorn while we were watching VeggieTales videos with the babies, Chilena and I were too busy doing the voices. Could we make some popcorn?"

Only then did he notice his own hands on her shoulders, and yanked them back in embarrassment.
