Alina found an empty seat in the auditorium. She had never been in this room before. Locker theft? Interesting.
" Well do," she told him, walking to her locker.
Jen blushed and looked up at Brendan. "I'd really like to, actually...."
Jen turned her head up. "That would be my locker theft." she sighed.
The gossipy girl Ivy passed within Summer's hearing, saying to some friend, "It was the Ku Klux Klan! Ten of them tried to catch Tommy Harding [who was a black basketball player for the East High Falcons] and drag him behind a truck, but Jack Torinburg and some of the other football players rescued him..."
Now it was Brendan's turn to blush, but he was indeed very happy. "Um, awesome. cool." He was at a loss for words, he couldn't speak.
"Don't worry, should be a quick assembly."
" All right, she told him, taking his hand " Oh, how about we go to Amore Casual Italian," she told him, with a huge smile on her face
"Very cool," Jen said, and grabbed her books. "Should we head over to the gym?"
"yes I think we should". He bent over and whispered in her ear, "Do you think I could hold your hand?"
Jen giggled. "You know, you don't have to ask." she said, taking his hand.
"I figured I'd should." He smiled shyly. He lead her into the gym and they walked up a couple rows of bleachers to graba seat.
" Cool," she told him, taking her seat next to him.
When Alipang entered the auditorium, it was instantly obvious that many of the kids already had some idea of what had happened overnight. The crowd parted respectfully before him like the Red Sea before Moses, and no one dared to sit close to him until his true friends began arriving.
" Aren't they cute?," she asked, playing with his thumb.
