My Chemical Romance Fan Club

...I hated being called emo cause I did hurt myself....And it sucks that alot of people don't believe me when I say MCR saved my life. It really did help out alot when I was giving up cutting. It still saves my life all the time, just as much as Elton John.

ahh same here... except it was Hawthorne Heights, MCR, 30stm, and HIM.... how HIM helped idk but it did...

The F word has never bothered me, not when it's being said by Gerard anyway. And lolz, I never noticed that on the back of the CD cover. Mostly because I don't actually own the CD...I just have a ripped copy of it from my friend.

bahaha so true...
but i did notice the 'Gee comming to your house and sucking your blood' on the CD
hehehe

Yeah I don't mind it as much when its in music. I just hate it when people constantly use it when they're arguing or just say it when they're talking. Thats one of the only things I can't stand about Gerard Way. He overuses the F word. To me its kinda useless to cuss unless you really need it that badly to express a thought and I like to think that MCR is more educated than that...Considering that every time I get a new MCr cd or listen really closely to the words I have to go get my dear friend the dictionary because they use alot of words I don't know when I least expect it...Lol its amazing how much my vocabulary has increased since I started listening to MCR. Though it drives me nuts on #2 on Three Cheers For sweet Revenge that they use the word "ephedrine" in a way that makes no sense and pronounce it wrong....At least my sister says they pronounce it wrong. I'm not sure since MCR was the first place I'd heard of ephedrine....and cyanide...and contusion..and butane...Lol I thought a contusion was a serious medical condition but I asked my science teacher and he said it was basically a fancy name for bruise...XD

Le sigh. Ditto. Any news about rock bands in general then, anyone??

I was also wondering if any of you guys still actually come here for Narnia. Lol. Because I've never seen Eve in any other threads except this one, and I wonder if any of us have grown out of the Narnia thing. I certainly haven't.

when i joined way back when like the day after the movie came out, i had a different name it was ilovewilliam- thats right ppl, I was one of those spastic willianites who just lived around his exsistence...needless to say I grew out of it hahaha. It won't stop me from seeing the next movie, but still I'm kinda personally passed it...I know I haven't been on in a while, I was away...but um band news...not tons, bamboozle just announced a whole next group signed up, but that's about it! what's new with u all?

My sister Kat gave me the Chiodos cd she bought cause she didn't like it as much as she thought she would...Some of the songs remind me of MCR but I'll admit they're not the best band on earth...But they're okay. (Chiodos, not MCR :p)

ATTENTION: FINALLY NEW MCR NEWS!!!!!!
The following is taken from the news on Imnotokay.net.

Gerard’s first comic proven not to be The Umbrella Academy
It has been brought to public attention by a disgruntled Hart D. Fisher the Renegade Publisher of Boneyard Press, that The Umbrella Academy has been wrongly dubbed Way’s first comic. Fisher published two editions of what in fact was Way’s first comic entitled ‘On Raven’s wings’ in 1994, though the sixteen year old Gerard was penning under the name Garry Way. Fisher eagerly, trying to get some recognition for being the actual first publisher of Way’s first comic spoke out against Dark Horse.

“So did a big company like Dark Horse knowingly commit fraud on the public in their advertisements touting these books by Gerard as his first foray into comics, or were they unknowing dupes. How many kids bought this comic book, The Umbrella Academy, because it was the first.”

Fisher claims to have been trying to get in contact with Way, yet came to the conclusion on the lack of interaction on Way’s part that Gerard was avoiding him while Way responded with this recent statement.

“I sent [Hart] an email years ago, before we finished ‘Revenge,’ thanking him for believing in me, and never got a response. I think I emailed him once again as well…never heard anything back. I’m not ashamed of what I did for him, and wanted to see him in person and thank him. I’ve never had the chance.”

Dear God. So what if it wasn't really Gerard's first comic? Do they think people bought TUA just because it was his first? No, they bought it because they love Gerard and would buy his comics even if they were his 1000th! Sheesh.

MCR are playing in Madison Square Garden, where Gee and Mikey first saw the Smashing Pumpkins and knew that it was what they wanted to do :3 If that hadn't happened, we may have no MCR. So good on them, they're really achieving their dreams.

wow can't believe u said that, in front of their pretty much #1 fan, by the end of this year, I will have seen them 8 times, met Craig twice (man in the avatar lol), the rest of the band once lol...hahahah jk jk jk, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Also they sound nothing like MCR haha, in my opinion at least in any of their cds lol

And even if I didn't like them, it's no so cool you are knocking them down a little bit since every band is unique and it's all based on personal opinion who is good and who isn't.
Chiodos are in more of a hardcore genre, with just some occasionally softer elements, unlike MCR that are more alternative...so seriously it's all opinion. I would never knock MCR even though im not really a fan. does anyone see where I'm coming from?

p.s. i accually won the first softball game... XD
p.p.s. princey i LOVE your siggy <3 twilight.... ahhh

Firstly, bruiser, thank you :]

And yes, I see where you're coming from, Eve. I've never really listened to Chidos and don't like them, but I'd never knock them down just because they're hardcore and I'm more into softer rock or alternative. Although I AM in love with Falling Down by Atreyu and they're pretty hardcore :S

AHHHH ATREYU.... hehe don't even get me started... i love them eventhough on their new CD there is a song called 'blow' and.... well.... it has a lot of cuss words... lol & it is the second most listened to song on my Ipod **first being 'you shook me all night long' by ACDC**

The strangest thing happened to me the other day. I was listening to "Famous Last Words", just listening to it and mergingually into the music as I usually did and then I just seemed to get more out of the lyrics than before and just broke down bawling as if I'd lost everything. Don't think I'm crazy for saying this but somehow I felt good like I'd needed to cry or something. The thing is, I wasn't upset at all. I don't know what happened but I cried alot and then I just felt good. I guess I just get too emotional/into my music...My parents say its not unusual to be so into my music but I honestly don't know what I was doing. I haven't cried over music since I went to the Elton John concert so I guess I wasn't used to being so into music that I burst into tears in so long that I felt like I was going crazy...
Has that ever happened to any of you where the greatness of it all just overwhelms you and you love it to the point of tears? I don't know...Maybe I AM crazy. Maybe everyone else is. Maybe there's no such thing as crazy. I just don't know.

umm... **cough** yeah ugh... i have... a lot... my friends say it is because i am too emo. ha but umm.... last night i was tearing up to some of my songs on my ipod.... i mean i don't 'boo-hoo' over anything... i just tear up. but i know where you are comming from.... i did almost the same thing over 'i don't love you' by MCR and i felt better after it... it was weird... but hey... who isn't weird?

I like your sigg, too, Cris_DanRadcliffe. Lol I had the hugest crush on him when I saw LWW...After I decided William Moseley wasn't all that great after all...
