Which is your favorite?

My brother has been obsessed with Star Wars for two years, so I've had plenty of opportunities to watch all six episodes...:D
I like them in this order:

1. A New Hope
The parts I really like are: when Darth Vader comes in for the first time and the whole rescue of Princess Leia. When Luke says his line about, "Why would anyone kill JAWAS?" my brothers and sisters always laugh...for some reason....

2. Return of the Jedi
The very end, where everyone is celebrating, is the best part!!

3. The Empire Strikes Back
The parts with Leia and Han Solo are more interesting to me than the whole Luke-learning-the-Force thing...

4. Revenge of the Sith
All the lightsaber fights:D!! And Anakin getting it from Obi-Wan at the end after murdering all those kids.

5. Attack of the Clones
The scenery and anything with Obi-Wan.

6. Phantom Menace
Darth Maul!!!:D:D

Welcome, GGray, I didn't see you post before. I like the way you think! I would put the first 3 films in the same order you did -- #4 (New Hope) is the best of the entire series, and #6 (Return of the Jedi) is #2. All 3 of the older films are better than the 3 new ones, so that leaves #5 (Empire Strikes Back) in third place.

I get all 3 of the new films mixed up! I liked Episode One because I like Liam Neeson. I disliked Episode Two somewhat because of how horrid Anakin grew up to be ... and I really was disappointed in Episode Three. I felt like it just ... had a very contrived story line ... as if they had to show all of a sudden why Anakin went bad, and he really had no justification at all. :(

Who're everyone's favorite characters? I liked Obi-Wan in the newer movies. In the original movies my favorite is probably Leia.
Also, Darth Maul was a great bad guy. They should've made him escape at the end of Ep. I and used him as the villain for II and then had Anakin kill him in III. He wasn't really in Ep. I very much, just at the end.

I love Darth Maul! And I love, love, love General Grievous. Yoda may be my favorite character. I love it when he went crazy in the light saber duel! He's awesome. I loved Liam Neeson's character, too, but I can't spell it.
 
Oh, I forgot General Grievous! He's also on my top ten list, which I'll paste here. It's not in any particular order.

1. Obi-Wan
2. Princess Leia
3. Darth Maul
4. General Griveous
5. R2-D2
6. Darth Vader (I don't like him when he was Anakin, though)
7. Han Solo (some of the time):)
8. Yoda
9. Qui-Gon Jinn
10. The little kids from Ep. II that gave Obi-Wan advice:D

Man, Jar Jar is the worst! I couldn't agree more. Qui-gon, is that how it's spelled? Loved him. Griveous and Darth Maul and Yoda are my favorites also.

Jar Jar I can't stand. Little boy Anakin was OK, but grown-up Anakin/Pre-Darth Vader, he acted so vapid. I think the actor was good but he needed better lines and more direction.
 
Our beloved Aravis Kenobi told me it was; I watched once or twice, but I did not know the saga well enough to know what was happening ...

The cartoon anime ones were okay, not the best. These new animated ones are top notch! Way way better than the prequels! I'm loving them, you should check them out. They're mini episodes but they're still great!

ahh and here's my favorite characters..
R2-D2 & C3PO. Best characters in the whole 1st and 2nd trilogy. More better in the original trilogy.
 
My favorite Star Wars characters are Obi-Wan and Darth Maul:D I like all 6 episodes.

I can add a poll. What kind of poll did you want? And welcome, SeaStar. Glad to see you posting! I love Darth Maul, too. General Grievous I love more, though.

I added the poll and placed the first vote for my favorite; Episode IV, a New Hope. That was the original that I saw in cinemas 30 years ago or whenever it was. It was something totally new at the time, and an amazing blockbuster. In order my favorites are:

IV New Hope
VI Return of the Jedi
V The Empire Strikes Back

Then the prequels, I guess in order. I never saw the animation Clone Wars.
