Overall the film was good, but I think the addition of the river scene with the ice was unneccesary, as was the viewing of the witchs' castle by the beavers and the Pevensies. I missed the dialogue where the female beaver is concerned for her sewing machine and Father Christmas assures her of getting a new one. I think a crucial piece of missing dialogue was where Aslan scolds Lucy for hovering over the recovering Edmund with, "Must more people die for Edmund?" The bombing sequence was good and added a period setting to the movie. The imagery of the Dryads was good. Lucy smiled better than she cried, but overall the kids were fleshed out nicely. I did not like the children running away from the responsibility of a broken window-wouldn't it have been better for them to be hiding from the tour group instead of evading punishment for a mistaken crime? Overall a 3.5.
