Being a great fan of C.S. Lewis himself, I was eager to see his books that I so love portrayed on the big screen. Little did I know, however, that the images portrayed of Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy, The White Witch and her army, and the army under the command of Peter and Aslan would be so totally correct in terms of the book. I was not disappointed with any of the scenes, and the textual accuracy was amazing throughout the movie. Costume design was incredible and casting and computer based graphic design were both even better.

I have to say that the only part in the entire film that let me down in the slightest was the last line where the Professor tosses the cricket ball back to Peter and says "Try Me". For some small reason, that line had me leaving the movie theatre with a bad taste in my mouth.

The soundtrack on the other hand is non-comparable to any I have heard before. It's blend of instruments and vocals match exactly what I assumed would be part of one of the best films of 2005. I can't wait to see another one of C.S. Lewis' books in the cinema.
