The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe

The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe is now in theaters. The movie is rated PG. This movie is appropriate for most ages (maybe not toddlers) and is a riveting action/adventure. The movie runs about two and a half hours long.

This is a Disney and Walden Media film with loads of adventure. This is a fun movie to watch because it gets pretty intense, with surprises around every corner. There are still funny lines that brighten the movie when their in a sticky situation. Also along with this the scenery was amazing, the snow was particularly realistic. Another thing is knowing the snow is fake you saw the characters breath which was showing the fine attention to detail in the scenery.

This is about four siblings trying to escape a war at home, but now they are going to lead a land into another. They find themselves falling into a magic land where they are informed that they are supposed to save Narnia from the White Witch and her white winter. On this epic journey they meet many friends along with many enemies. This movie is a lot like the exciting novel by C.S. Lewis, there are a few things different, and for instance there is exciting scene where three of the siblings are fleeing the secret police when they are caught on a melting river. The waterfall comes pouring out and find them selves in a unique situation. This and a few other exciting scenes were added, but nothing could spoil a tale like this one.

Soon you'll be asking yourself who are these people? Peter, played by William Mosley, did an astonishing job with his role as the eldest sibling. Susan, played by Anna Poppewell, was also great and I love how you see her change throughout the movie. Lucy, played by Georgie Henley and Edmund, played by Skandar Keynes, had very hard roles to play, but pulled them off with outstanding performance (five stars).

This movie is one of the best in my book. I love this movie because of its edge of your seat plot. Another reason would be the young actors/actresses amazing performance. The last reason is special effects. They were very convincing. This magical adventure is just waiting for you to climb along. So go and see it, because I give this movie a five star.
