This page covers Glimpse of Narnia in the console and PC version of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Glimpse of Narnia is where the first real version-specific gameplay starts. Lucy and Edmund share the stage, and the entire level is built to teach the team-up mechanic, Edmund's fire utility, and the basic rule that the path often opens only after you unlock a move instead of after you beat a fight.

Before you push forward

  • Keep Edmund active most of the time. He is the faster answer for wolves, brambles, and torch interactions.
  • Collect every team-up icon. You cannot break the ice boulders that gate the rest of the area until that ability is fully unlocked.
  • Buy Brave Heart after the stage. It is cheap and worth taking right away.

Route and objective breakdown

  • Use Edmund’s lit stick to burn brambles and clear the obvious roadblocks before you worry about fancy combat.
  • Use Lucy for the high pickups that require the snowball lift and for any small interaction that clearly favors her lighter movement.
  • Once the team-up icons are complete, join Lucy and Edmund to smash the large ice chunks instead of circling them for an alternate route that does not exist.
  • When wolves arrive, switch back to Edmund after any team-up attack so you are not accidentally left controlling Lucy in the middle of the fight.
  • Light the brambles in the wolf area to cut off more enemies and make the fight calmer instead of treating the wave like an endless brawl.
  • Grab the red heart icons on the way through. They feed one of the new ability unlocks at the end of the stage.

Common stuck points

  • Ice boulders won’t break? You are missing one or more team-up icons.
  • Wolves keep flooding the clearing? Burn the brambles with Edmund’s lit stick.
  • Why does the team-up suddenly feel clumsy? Because the game often leaves you controlling Lucy afterward. Switch back to Edmund manually.

Completion and cleanup notes

This stage gets much faster on a replay because you stop second-guessing the progression rule. Collect the team-up icons, burn what Edmund can burn, and use Lucy for the handful of pickups the game clearly built for her. That simple rhythm is the whole level.

Bonus tip

If you are trying to keep the stage flowing, think of Lucy as the route opener and Edmund as the pace keeper. The moment you understand that split, Glimpse of Narnia stops feeling fiddly.
