I like the movie very much, but no movie can be perfect. The reviews below 5 I gave were simply because it didn't quite live up to my expectations of the book. The kids did remarkable and commendable acting in this movie.
The score - can I say enough about it? It not only defines the emotions of the movie very well, but it stands as music in its own right.
The sets, the cinematography, the special effects, all were stunning. Half the time I couldn't tell whether the beavers were real - except that they were talking. :c) I'd definitely recommend it to others.
