I first heard about the possibility of there being a movie of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe about five years ago. Rumors and such. When the movie finally came out in 2005, my siblings and I were elated, but not sure what to expect. I had not wanted what I had pictured half of my childhood to be spoiled. We were Lewis fans, (I should add.) Despite that, we went the same week it first came out. It's indescribably amazing that they remained loyal to both the book and Lewis! The casting was near perfect! The whole battle was about two pages long in the book, whereas, it's a major part of the film! We left the theater astounded. And I wouldn't only recommend this for children. I'm only fourteen, and I favor this movie among many others. What I am saying is it's not only for children and teens, my parents liked it too. Generally it's for all audiences. This movie is highly recommended in my opinion. It is something I am definitely glad I saw, and would continue to watch over and over again.
