From IGN.com comes these two early images from the Narnia video game, due out at the end of the year.

Game features include intricate puzzle solving, two-player action featuring all four characters, and seamless game play integration with real film footage.

Mooney added that Disney would tie in video games to movies, and potentially launch games before films to help promote them, as with “The Chronicles of Narnia,” a new movie franchise that Disney will launch next year based on the books by C.S. Lewis.

IGN has learned that development studio Traveller’s Tales (A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo) will helm the upcoming videogame adaptations of Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

Buena Vista Games, Inc., the global interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company, today announced that it will publish video games based on the epic tale of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, the best-selling story by C.S. Lewis and the forthcoming film by Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media, for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube(TM), PC and handheld consoles in fall 2005.

“[Chronicles of Narnia] doesn’t come out for 18 months, but we started working on the DVD eight months ago,” Burnett added.
