Overview: Rhindon is Peter’s sword, given by Father Christmas and used in some of the most important battles of Narnian history.
Peter’s sword
Rhindon marks a change in Peter. Father Christmas gives him a real weapon because Peter is being asked to defend others and grow into the kind of king Narnia will need.
The sword also keeps its weight after the first battle. Later references tie Peter’s kingship back to something concrete from the winter when the Pevensies first fought for Narnia.
