Overview: The Stone Knife is the knife Jadis uses at the Stone Table in Aslan’s sacrificial death.
In the story
This is one of the darkest and most symbolically charged objects in the whole series. The Stone Knife is bound to the Deep Magic scene at the Stone Table and cannot really be separated from that event.
It matters because it embodies the violence of the Witch’s claim and the costliness of Aslan’s self-giving.
