Background
Wolves in Narnia are usually associated with threat, pursuit, and the harsher side of the Witch’s power. Lewis uses them to give evil a predatory edge, especially in scenes where the children are still vulnerable and on the run.
How the race functions in Narnia
Unlike some other Narnian races, wolves are not often shown in a broad range of moral roles. They tend to appear as enforcers or hunters. That narrower use helps sharpen the danger around the White Witch’s regime.
