Introduction to Narnia’s Races
Narnia is full of different peoples and creatures, and Lewis does not treat them as interchangeable wallpaper. Humans, Talking Beasts, mythical creatures, and the peoples of neighboring lands all bring different histories, loyalties, strengths, and temptations into the story. Paying attention to race in Narnia helps readers understand not only what a character is, but how that character fits into the world around them.
This section is meant to give a clearer guide to those groups. Some are native to Narnia itself, some come from neighboring countries like Calormen, and some belong to the deeper magic of the world Aslan made. Over time, this section can grow into a cleaner reference point for the character pages, so the race field is actually useful instead of just decorative.
