The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Book portrayal
Ginarrbrik is the White Witch’s dwarf servant in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He is one of the first truly hostile Narnian creatures the Pevensies encounter, and he helps establish the Witch’s court as cold, suspicious, and cruel.
His role is usually practical rather than grand. He drives the sleigh, carries out orders, and stands near the Witch as an extension of her power. That ordinary obedience makes him effective. He is not the main evil of the story, but he is part of the machinery that keeps it running.
Adaptation portrayals
Adaptations keep Ginarrbrik close to the White Witch and use him in much the same way, though his name and visibility can land differently depending on the version.
