Wimbleweather is one of the giants loyal to old Narnia in Prince Caspian. His presence helps balance darker giant groups elsewhere in the Chronicles by showing that giant-kind is not uniformly hostile or foolish.

Named giants like Wimbleweather give the Narnian side extra scale. They make the mustering of creatures around Caspian feel larger and stranger in the right way, as if the whole land is beginning to move again.

Adaptation portrayals

The Walden film includes Wimbleweather as part of the old Narnian force, keeping that sense of breadth even when many minor figures have little screen time of their own.
