Book portrayal
Obentinus is another of the named fauns who appear on the side of the old Narnians in Prince Caspian. He does not receive a major scene, but his inclusion supports one of the book’s strongest effects: the sense that Narnia’s forgotten peoples are coming back into view one by one.
Even a brief page like this is useful when it stays honest about scale. Obentinus is a small supporting figure, yet he still belongs to the larger restoration of the land under Aslan and Caspian.
